Chafe Stick
It started on Rainbow Beach with two mums, a surfboard, and a seriously inconvenient chafing problem. After long days of surfing, swimming, and playing in the sand with the kids, the aftermath was always the same: red, sore, irritated skin that no one talks about but everyone suffers through.
Enough was enough. These two mums set out to create a safe, effective, and easy-to-use product that actually solved the problem, and after endless hours of trialling and testing plant-based combinations, Chafe Stick was born. Word spread fast. A third mum from Manly heard the story, tried the product, and immediately wanted in. Then a dad from the Gold Coast, who knew a good thing when he saw it, jumped on board too.
Four parents. Two coastlines. One mission: make chafing optional.

Since developing Chafe Stick my boys use it each time they go surfing and they always take it to training at the surf club. Before squeezing into their wetsuits, the non- greasy balm is rubbed onto their neck and groin areas, one of the boys also puts it under his arms. If skins or board shorts are worn, they still apply Chafe Stick, but to other areas of the body.
I’m impressed that they have become experts at knowing where the rubbing will be. If the stick has been forgotten, red marks develop very quickly and become painful, and the complaining begins. It is extremely effective, and we are so proud of our product.
